Mintora – Terms and Conditions

Agreement Overview

These Terms and Conditions (the “Agreement” or “Terms”) govern access to and use of www.mintora.com (the “Platform”). Mintora by Le Groupe Vingt-Quatre Inc. (“Mintora,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) owns and operates the Platform.

Mintora is a specialized digital platform exclusively dedicated to hockey cards, offering next-generation portfolio management tools for hockey card collectors.

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms in their entirety.

Our Service Commitment

We are committed to delivering the Mintora Service, encompassing all products, features, applications, technologies, and software designed to support our mission: connecting hockey card collectors with their collections and with each other.

Core Service Components

Comprehensive Hockey Card Database

Mintora provides an extensive and continuously updated database dedicated exclusively to hockey cards, including pricing data, historical information, and high-quality images. This database enables collectors to accurately track, manage, and grow their hockey card portfolios.

Mintora does not support trading card games (TCG) or non-hockey card collectible categories.

Personalized Collection Experience

Our Platform offers customizable tools allowing users to build, organize, and showcase their hockey card collections, while connecting with fellow collectors within the Mintora community.

Public Showcases (Vitrines publiques).

Any collection, showcase, profile content, or media made publicly visible on Mintora must exclusively reflect hockey cards and the hockey card collecting hobby. Content that is not hockey-card related is not permitted in public-facing areas and may be removed at Mintora’s discretion.

Safe and Inclusive Community

We strive to maintain a welcoming, respectful, and secure environment. Mintora uses technical systems and human moderation to detect and address abuse, policy violations, harmful behavior, and deceptive practices. When required, we may share relevant information with law enforcement authorities.

Global Service Infrastructure

To operate the Service globally, data may be stored and processed in multiple jurisdictions, including outside your country of residence.

Connecting You With Relevant Content

Mintora may display sponsored content, offers, or recommendations relevant to hockey card collectors. Sponsored content is designed to align with the interests of our community.

Revenue Model

Mintora generates revenue primarily through paid subscriptions granting access to premium features. Additional revenue may be generated through advertising and partnerships.

Mintora does not sell personal data to third parties.

User Obligations

Eligibility Requirements

To use Mintora, you must:

• Be at least 13 years old (or the minimum legal age in your jurisdiction)

• Not be legally restricted from using the Service

• Not have had a prior account terminated for policy violations

• Not be a registered sex offender

Acceptable Use Policy

Hockey Cards Only

Mintora’s social and community features are strictly limited to hockey-card related content.

Prohibited content includes, but is not limited to:

• Religious or political content

• Explicit or sexual material

• Hate speech or violent content

• Any non-hockey card content, including trading card games (TCG) or other collectible categories

Mintora reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate this policy.

Authenticity and Accurate Information

You must provide accurate, current, and truthful information. Impersonation or misrepresentation is strictly prohibited.

Lawful Conduct

You may not engage in unlawful, misleading, fraudulent, or unauthorized activities.

Service Integrity

You may not interfere with the Platform’s operation, abuse reporting systems, or submit fraudulent complaints.

Authorized Access Only

Automated access, scraping, or unauthorized data collection is prohibited without written consent.

No Account Trading

Selling, buying, transferring, or licensing accounts or credentials is prohibited.

Privacy and Intellectual Property

You may not share private information without consent or infringe intellectual property rights. You confirm that you own or have rights to all content you post.

Platform Integrity

Reverse engineering, modifying, or creating derivative works from Mintora systems is prohibited without authorization.

Artificial Intelligence Estimates

Important Notice

AI grade estimates provided by Mintora are indicative only and do not constitute official grading.

Factors affecting accuracy include:

• Image quality

• Card condition and age

• Undetectable micro-defects

• Natural evaluator variance

Users should rely on professional grading services (PSA, BGS, SGC, etc.) for official evaluations.

Mintora assumes no liability for decisions made based on AI estimates.

Use of Data for AI Improvement

Images and analyses may be used in anonymized form to improve AI systems. Personal data is removed prior to AI training.

User Grants and Permissions

Content License

You retain ownership of your content. By uploading content, you grant Mintora a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to use it for Service operation.

The license ends when content is deleted.

Profile and Activity Permissions

You authorize Mintora to display your profile information and activity where permitted by your privacy settings.

Software Updates

You consent to automatic updates necessary to maintain the Service.

Rights We Reserve

Mintora may:

• Modify usernames if necessary

• Enforce intellectual property rights

• Restrict use of trademarks

• Modify or discontinue features

Subscriptions and Billing

Subscription Plans

Mintora offers monthly and annual paid subscriptions.

Complimentary Family License

Paid subscribers may grant one family member access to premium features, subject to the primary subscription remaining active.

Subscription Cancellation

Subscriptions may be canceled at any time but remain active until the end of the billing period. No prorated refunds are offered.

Price Changes

Price changes take effect at the next billing cycle following notice.

Content Moderation and Account Actions

Mintora may remove content or suspend accounts to protect the community, comply with laws, or enforce these Terms.

Account Deletion

Deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Content removal may take up to 90 days, subject to legal or technical exceptions.

Camera Scanning Feature

The scanning feature is exclusively intended for hockey cards.

Mintora does not support scanning of TCG or non-hockey cards and makes no guarantees for unsupported content.

Third-Party Products and User Transactions

Mintora is not responsible for third-party goods or user-to-user transactions.

Marketplace and User-to-User Transactions

The Mintora Marketplace is a community-driven feature that enables registered users to list hockey cards for sale and to connect with other members who may be interested in purchasing them. The Marketplace functions solely as a platform for connecting collectors — similar in concept to a classified listing service.

How the Marketplace Works. Users may list hockey cards for sale directly from their collection or through the Marketplace interface. Interested buyers may contact sellers through Mintora’s messaging system to discuss and negotiate the terms of a potential transaction, including price, payment method, and shipping arrangements. All terms of any transaction are agreed upon exclusively between the buyer and seller.

Mintora’s Role. Mintora acts solely as an intermediary platform facilitating communication between collectors. Mintora does not participate in, mediate, or guarantee any transaction conducted through the Marketplace. Mintora does not process payments, handle shipping, verify the condition or authenticity of listed cards, or hold funds in escrow on behalf of any party.

Limitation of Liability. Mintora shall not be held responsible or liable for any aspect of a transaction between users, including but not limited to: the accuracy of listing descriptions; the condition, authenticity, or grade of cards offered for sale; pricing agreements between parties; payment disputes, non-payment, or fraud; shipping, delivery, loss, or damage of items; failure by either party to fulfill the terms of an agreement. All transactions are conducted at the sole risk of the participating users.

User Responsibility. By using the Marketplace, you acknowledge and agree that you are solely responsible for evaluating the trustworthiness of other users, negotiating fair terms, arranging secure payment methods, ensuring proper packaging and shipping of items, and resolving any disputes directly with the other party. Mintora strongly encourages users to exercise caution, use secure and traceable payment methods, and retain proof of all communications and transactions.

Content Standards. All Marketplace listings must comply with these Terms and Conditions, including the requirement that content be exclusively related to hockey cards. Listings that are misleading, fraudulent, or in violation of any applicable law may be removed, and the associated account may be suspended or terminated at Mintora’s discretion.

No Fees. The Mintora Marketplace is currently offered free of charge to all registered users. Mintora reserves the right to introduce fees or premium listing features in the future, with advance notice to users.

Accepted methods include:

Consumer Protection

Mandatory consumer protection laws remain applicable.

External Links

Mintora is not responsible for third-party websites.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Mintora against claims arising from misuse of the Platform.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Quebec, Canada.

Severability

Invalid provisions shall be severed without affecting the remaining Terms.

Mintora Chat Terms of Use

Chat is restricted to users 18 years or older and must remain focused on hockey cards and collecting. TCG or non-hockey topics are not permitted.

Violations may result in warnings, suspension, or account termination.

Modifications to Terms

Mintora may update these Terms. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
